Wings are the biggest single upgrade in Mu Online: every tier adds damage, absorption and, from the 4th tier on, its own attack power. Below is every wing and cape in the game, for all sixteen classes, from the first Wings of Elf to the Season 19 5th wings, with the official names, a picture of each and a link to where it drops.
One row per class, one column per wing tier. Click any name for the monsters and maps that drop it. A dash means the class has no wing of that tier — the Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Rage Fighter and Grow Lancer start at the 2nd tier, and the classes added from Season 14 onwards start at the 3rd. The Crusader (Season 21) keeps its capes in item group 21 rather than with the other wings: Cloak of Protection, Cloak of Aspiration, Cloak of Sanctuary and Cloak of Radiance, with the Black Cloak it shares with the Illusion Knight as its 2nd tier.
Where the official patch-note name differs from the name in the game's item list, the patch-note name is shown underneath. Private servers use the item-list name.
Each tier raises the damage bonus and the damage absorption, and from the 4th tier on wings also carry their own attack power. Values below are at +0; every upgrade level adds to them.
| Tier | Wear requirement | Damage increase | Damage absorb | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Level 180 + 4 per wing level | 12% + 2% per level | 12% + 2% per level | Chaos Machine: Jewel of Chaos + a +4, 4-option item |
| 2nd | Level 215 (2nd class) | 32% | 25% | Chaos Machine: 1st wings + Loch's Feather |
| 3rd | Level 400, 3rd class change | 39% | 39% | Two steps: Condor's Feather, then Condor's Flame |
| 4th | Level 800, 4th class change | 55% | 43% (Dark Lord 37%) | Two steps from a +13 3rd wing: Feather of Garuda (60%), then the 4th wing (40%) |
| 5th | Level 1,200, 5th class change | 55% (70% at +15) | 43% (73% at +15) | 5th Wing Relic from a +13 4th wing, then the wing (24%, 34% with a Luck charm) |
4th wings also get 1–4 random options out of eleven, and one or two elemental options once you add an element at NPC Adniel in Elbeland. 5th wings have no Luck option. They add a damage correction line that reaches 16 at +15, and they accept a Wing Core for an extra attack bonus. The full crafting recipes are in the Season 13 guide for 4th wings and the Season 19 guide for 5th wings.
The ladder above shows each class's own wings, but many wings are shared. This list is taken from the Season 21 server item list and shows every wing, cape and cloak a class is allowed to equip, sorted by required level — including small starter wings, monster wings and wings borrowed from other classes. Wings with an orange frame are the class's own ladder wings. The all-class Wings of Conqueror, Wings of Power and Wings of Growth are left out because every class can wear them.
The first wings every class could craft — Wings of Elf, Wings of Heaven and Wings of Satan arrived in the original game, the Summoner's Wings of Curse in Season 3. They are cheap, drop-in upgrades and still the starting point of the whole wing ladder on classic servers.
The 2nd tier is where the Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Rage Fighter and Grow Lancer join in, and where most classic Season 6 characters spend the bulk of the game. Loch's Feather, dropped in Icarus, is the key ingredient.
3rd wings need the 3rd class change and level 400, and they are made in two steps with Condor's Feather and Condor's Flame. The newer classes — Rune Wizard, Slayer, Gun Crusher, Lemuria Mage and Alchemist — begin their wing ladder here.
4th wings arrived in Season 13 with level 800 and the 4th class change. They are built from a +13 3rd wing with Feather and Flame of Garuda, and they are the first wings with random options and elements.
5th wings came with Season 19 and the 5th class change at level 1,200. The expensive part is the 5th Wing Relic, which eats a +13 4th wing with four options plus a hundred each of Bless, Soul, Creation, Chaos, Golden Crest and Uriel's Feather.
Outside the class ladders are wings any class can wear. The Wings of Conqueror are the championship reward. Win Chaos Castle and combine the Proof of the Conqueror with 10 Bless, 10 Soul, 10 Life and a Jewel of Chaos at the Chaos Goblin, at a 100% success rate. They have a unique Attack Power line that starts at 100 and reaches 175 at +15. The monster wings (Chaos, Magic, Life and the Cloak of Death) sit between the 2nd and 3rd tier. Wings of Growth and the Small wings are starter or rental wings with no level requirement.
The 5th wings, which are the top tier on current servers. At +15 they give 70% damage increase, 73% damage absorption, 2,051 attack power and 2,737 defence. On classic Season 6 servers the best you can get is 3rd wings, or the Wings of Conqueror on servers that run the championship.
Put a set of 1st wings, Loch's Feather, a Jewel of Chaos and an excellent or +4 item into the Chaos Machine at the Chaos Goblin in Noria. Loch's Feather drops in Icarus.
Level 800 and the 4th class change. The wing is crafted from a +13 3rd wing with at least four options.
Wings of Satan (1st), Wings of Dragon (2nd), Wings of Storm (3rd), Devil Wings (4th) and Wings of Destruction (5th).
No. The Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Rage Fighter and Grow Lancer start at the 2nd tier. The Rune Wizard, Slayer, Gun Crusher, Lemuria Mage and Alchemist start at the 3rd.
